#IWSG Be Inspired

Hi everyone!

Life in general has been a bit hectic these past few month, which has left me little time to fret over writing. So this month, for IWSG, I'm keeping things simple and sharing a few inspirational quotes that keep me going. I hope you enjoy them.

Found on LaurenBerger.buzznet.com

And one more for fun (and because I truly hope it's true) ...

Do any of these quotes resonate with you? How's life in your neck of the woods?

Thanks to Alex and our co-hosts for keeping IWSG going. For those who aren't familiar with Insecure Writer's Support Group, just follow the link. It's a wonderful group.

  1. I believe that last one is true. The bad things often nudge us in the right direction.

  4. Pruning a rose makes it grow stronger -- but I am sure that the rose doesn't feel blessed at the time! So like Alex, I like that last quote. And J K is right: a good book can take us to places we can reach no other way: our inner self. :-)

  5. That last one is TOTALLY true. So many of the tragedies in life are actually blessings in disguise. If only we can develop the maturity and humility to see them that way, eh?

  6. The bad things leading to good things really resonates for me. Life is so that way. Hope it gets less hectic for you!

  7. The last quote seems tailor made for me. Here's hoping my latest life-event will turn out to be a blessing.

  8. Bad things, yes, a matter of perspective. If I compare it to a journey on a road, I've often enjoyed the bumpy road more than the smooth pavement. Thanks for the lovely messages.

  9. The wisdom of the minions. Roland, lovely thought. Ken, I'm hoping the same thing. Feather, I'll take smooth pavement. :)

Thanks everyone for the encourage words and comments.

  11. I think we can wiggle J.K. Rowling's quote and change read to write!

  13. The first one is the one that resonates with me most. I have to be almost crazy to think I can write, but I'm doing it anyway.
